Itel has broadened its range of affordable smartphones by launching two new models: the itel P55 and itel P55+. These phones will be accessible both online and in physical stores. They come equipped with Unisoc T606 chipset, offering up to 8GB of RAM, while the P55+ boasts an additional virtual RAM capacity of up to 16GB. The P55 also supports RAM expansion of up to 8GB.
These phones feature a large 6.6-inch HD+ display with a fast 90Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth visuals. They also include a Dynamic Bar on the screen, providing users with easy access to battery status, incoming call alerts, and device unlocking details.
In terms of storage and memory, the P55+ offers 256GB of storage and 8GB of RAM, expandable up to 16GB through the virtual RAM expansion feature. Meanwhile, the P55 comes with 128GB of storage and 8GB of RAM, with an additional 16GB of virtual RAM available. Both variants in the P55 series sport a 50MP AI Dual Camera setup at the back and an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies.
The P55+ debuts with a 45W Power charging capability, enabling swift charging from 0 to 100% in only 72 minutes, with a 70% charge achievable in around 30 minutes. Meanwhile, the P55 model provides an 18W Fast Charge functionality, catering to efficient charging needs for its 5000mAh battery.
The itel P55 comes in two configurations. The model with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage is priced at Rs. 6,999, while the variant with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage is available at Rs. 8,999. As for the itel P55+, which offers 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, it is priced at Rs. 9,499.
