Eva Santolaria and Natalia Verbeke reminisce about old times from 'Compañeros' and 'Los Serrano.
Eva Santolaria and Natalia Verbeke : The actresses appeared on the show 'La Resistencia.
The Resistance," David Broncano's show on Movistar +, had two guests who were appearing together for the first time on the program: Natalia Verbeke and Eva Santolaria. Both actresses were present to promote the new season of 'Todos mienten' (Everyone Lies).
"During their time on the show, in addition to discussing this new fiction where Santolaria makes her debut as a scriptwriter, the conversation also touched upon the two most successful series in which both actresses have participated: 'Compañeros' and 'Los Serrano.'"
The target of Natalia Verbeke
Regarding the latter, the show recalled Verbeke's time in the fictional neighborhood of Santa Justa as the director of Guille and Teté's school. In the midst of this nostalgic journey, the actress unintentionally slipped a spoiler to Broncano by revealing the death of Belén Rueda (Lucía in the series). 'So... did Resines go to the countryside then?' joked the host.
"But that wasn't Natalia Verbeke's only mishap with the series in which she was one of the characters in the last season. When Broncano asked her who Resines ended up with in the end, whether it was the character of the Argentine-Spanish actress or Jaydy Michel's character, she drew a blank: 'Oh, I don't remember.'"
Thus, amidst laughter and memories, it was Santolaria's turn to discuss her unforgettable role in the series 'Compañeros.' Broncano asked her if there was anything from the series that, with the passage of time, she now considered implausible. However, the actress couldn't choose just one thing: 'We were students who could stand up to the mafia, crazy chases... we kept repeating the school year without stopping.'
'There came a point when we left because we were 32 years old,' she commented with a laugh. However, the actress admitted that while she started the series at the age of 20 or 21, she eventually left at 25, and, of course, continuing to be in high school at that age...
