Google Pixel 9 Pro design leaks: Leaked Images of Google Pixel 9 Pro Suggest Significant Design Updates.
Google Pixel 9 Pro design leaks: If Google follows its usual pattern for smartphone launches, we can expect the next Pixel flagship updates in approximately nine months. However, leaked images of the upcoming phones have recently surfaced, indicating that Google might be considering significant modifications, especially for the Pixel 9 Pro.
MySmartPrice recently posted leaked renders in collaboration with the well-known leaker @OnLeaks, revealing a new flat-edge design for the upcoming Google phone. This marks a departure from the curvier edge design seen in the Pixel 8 Pro.
One significant change appears to be in the horizontal camera bar that has spanned the back of Pixel smartphones in recent years. The leaked renders still depict a camera bar, but now it showcases a pill-shaped design that doesn't fully extend from edge to edge.
The leaked renders also reveal a few other noticeable changes. Notably, the SIM card tray has been relocated to sit beside the USB-C port at the bottom edge of the handset. However, the most significant departures from recent Pixel models are the introduction of flat edges and the redesigned camera bar.

Reports suggest that Google has been actively planning a significant overhaul for its Pixel 9 lineup. Rumors indicate that Google aims to revamp its smartphone lineup, taking inspiration from Apple's approach by offering a range of options. This could potentially include two Pro versions with varying screen sizes. Presently, the Pixel 8 Pro is only available in a single 6.7-inch model. If you prefer a smaller phone, your option is the Pixel 8, but it comes with a 6.2-inch display and lacks a telephoto lens.
Naturally, Google has not disclosed any details about its plans, and it's unlikely to reveal much until the next-generation smartphones are ready for release later this year—typically around October, following Google's usual timeline. Although the renderings released on Tuesday have not been officially confirmed by Google, they originate from leakers known for their accurate track record.
Nevertheless, the leaked information brings some peculiar details to light. According to the leakers, the Pixel 9 Pro is expected to feature a 6.5-inch screen, a slight reduction from the 6.7-inch display seen in the Pixel 8 Pro. This might suggest that Google is contemplating the production of multiple Pro models, although these plans are yet to be confirmed.
Regardless of the circumstances, the leaked renders provide insights into Google's potential plans for the upcoming launch of the Pixel 9 Pro later this year. While crucial details such as internal enhancements are still undisclosed, it's likely that a new Tensor chipset will be introduced to bring AI features in competition with the recently launched Galaxy S24 models.
