On its opening day in India, "Guntur Kaaram," featuring Mahesh Babu, is anticipated to deliver a strong performance. According to a report from Sacnilk.com, the film is expected to accumulate an estimated ₹50 crore nett on Friday. Directed by Trivikram Srinivas, the movie also stars Sreeleela and Meenakshi Chaudhary.


The report further mentioned that on Friday, "Guntur Kaaram" achieved an impressive overall Telugu occupancy of 74.67%. Notably, cities like Vijayawada and Guntur recorded an outstanding 99% occupancy. The film is anticipated to have performed well in advance bookings, indicating promising business.

The Telugu film, starring Mahesh Babu and directed by Trivikram Srinivas, marks a reunion after their blockbuster hits "Athadu" and "Khaleja." Apart from Mahesh Babu, the cast includes Sreeleela, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Jagapathi Babu, Ramya Krishnan, Jayaram, Prakashraj, and Sunil.


Centered around a don from Guntur and his love story, "Guntur Kaaram" is produced by S Radha Krishna under the banner of Haarika and Hassine Creations. The film faces competition over the Pongal and Sankranthi weekend, clashing with other releases like Teja Sajja’s "HanuMan," Venkatesh’s "Saindhav," and Nagarjuna’s "Naa Saami Ranga."

At a recent pre-release event for his upcoming film, "Guntur Kaaram," Mahesh Babu expressed deep emotions, stating, "Nothing can compare to the love I've received from you (fans) over the years. The affection has only grown with time. I am truly speechless. I always feel like all I can do is bow my head and express my gratitude."


Reflecting on the tradition of having hits on Sankranthi with his late father Krishna, Mahesh shared the emotional impact of his father's absence this year. He mentioned, "It feels strange this year because he's not here. I used to eagerly await his call every year, anticipating his honest feedback. But now that he's not here, I'll turn to my fans for that love. From now on, you are my mother, you are my father, you are my everything."
