India defeated Afghanistan in the second T20 by six wickets. With this win, Team India has taken an unbeatable 2-0 lead in the series. Indian captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and chose to bowl first. Afghanistan's team managed to score 172 runs in 20 overs. Team India chased down the target, scoring 173 runs for the loss of four wickets in 15.4 overs, clinching the match. The third and final match of the series will be played on January 17th in Bangalore.


Half-Centuries from Yashasvi and Shivam


Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shivam Dube played impactful innings, each scoring half-centuries for Team India. Yashasvi emerged as the top scorer with 68 runs, while Shivam Dube notched an impressive 63 runs. Shivam's innings included five fours and four sixes, displaying a striking strike rate of 196.88 in his 32-ball innings.


Kohli's Explosive Innings


Virat Kohli, making a comeback after 14 months, scored 29 runs off 16 balls. His strike rate stood at an impressive 181.25. Rohit Sharma and Jitesh Sharma couldn't open their accounts, while Rinku Singh managed to score nine unbeaten runs. For Afghanistan, Karim Janat took two wickets, while Fazalhaq Farooqi and Naveen-ul-Haq claimed one wicket each.


Arshdeep Takes Three Wickets


For Afghanistan, Gulbadin Naib scored the highest with 57 runs. Najibullah Zadran contributed 23, Mujeeb ur Rahman scored 21, and Karim Janat added 20 runs. Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Mohammad Nabi each made 14 runs. Captain Ibrahim Zadran was out for eight, while Ajmatullah Omarzai scored two runs before getting dismissed. Noor Ahmad managed to score one run, and Naveen-ul-Haq remained unbeaten with a single run. Fazalhaq Farooqi couldn't open his account.


Arshdeep Singh took the most wickets, claiming three. Akshar Patel and Ravi Bishnoi secured two wickets each, while Shivam Dube took one wicket.
