After a challenging year of recovery from critical injuries sustained in a snowplowing accident, Jeremy Renner is gearing up to return to his role as the Mayor of Kingstown. In an interview with Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper on the CNN New Year’s Eve special, Renner shared his excitement about the upcoming third season, expressing confidence in his readiness and strength. He highlighted the past year as wonderfully busy and mentioned his imminent return to work, scheduled for the following week. Renner credited his Disney+ show "Rennervations" for contributing to his emotional recovery, and he attended its premiere last April. Additionally, he unveiled a new song, "Wait," dedicated to his daughter, as part of his upcoming EP "Love and Titanium," chronicling his life during rehabilitation. Despite significant progress, Renner acknowledges ongoing challenges in his recovery, emphasizing his commitment to the journey.
