Jio has introduced the "Happy New Year Offer 2024" exclusively for its prepaid users in India, bringing a refresh to one of its existing annual prepaid plans. The highlight of this New Year offer is an extra 24 days of validity, complementing the standard 365-day validity. Currently, this extension is applicable only to the Rs. 2,999 plan. While the plan's benefits remain consistent, the prolonged validity period results in a reduced per-day cost for customers.
According to information provided on its website's Terms and Conditions page, Jio detailed that the Rs. 2,999 long-term prepaid recharge plan will include a 24-day validity voucher. This voucher ensures that the plan continues for an additional 24 days beyond its regular 365-day validity, giving users a total of 389 days of validity. Interested users can conveniently purchase this plan through Jio's prepaid plan page on the official website or via the MyJio application.
Throughout the extra 24 days, users will continue to enjoy the same benefits as the rest of the plan's validity period. The only difference lies in the reduced daily cost for customers, decreasing from Rs. 8.21 per day to Rs. 7.70 per day. With this plan, users can access 2.5GB of 4G data every day for the entire 389-day duration.
Customers opting for the Rs. 2,999 prepaid plan can enjoy a comprehensive package, featuring unlimited voice calls and 100 free SMS per day. The plan further includes unlimited 5G data, contingent on the availability of 5G services in the respective region.
For users situated within the 5G network coverage area, seamless access to unlimited 5G data is guaranteed.
Additionally, this prepaid plan grants subscribers access to JioTV, JioCinema, and JioCloud services. Notably, the JioCinema subscription bundled with this package is not the JioCinema Premium subscription and needs to be purchased independently for Rs. 1,499 through the JioCinema portal.
Moreover, the JioTV Premium subscription enhances the entertainment spectrum by providing access to a diverse range of up to 14 different OTT apps under a single plan.
